Jakarta - Former Chairman of the Golkar Party DPP Akbar Tandjung visited Makassar City in the context of organizing the Makassar City Golkar Institute. Akbar became one of the speakers in a short course on political education and public policy of the Makassar Golkar Party.
On that occasion, Akbar together with the former chairman of the Golkar Party DPP as well as former Vice President Jusuf Kalla and the chairman of the Golkar DPD I of South Sulawesi (South Sulawesi) Taufan Pawe performed the Friday prayer at the Al-Markaz Mosque, Makassar.
"It so happened that he (JK) was in Makassar and knew that Pak Akbar was visiting Makassar City. So that Chairman Taufan Pawe and the DPD I Golkar group of South Sulawesi together perform Friday prayers at Al-Markaz," said South Sulawesi Golkar spokesman Zulham Arief in a written statement, Friday (11/19/2021).
The secretary of the Youth Forces of the Golkar Party (AMPG) in South Sulawesi also said that Akbar and Taufan also took the time to have lunch together at Coto Nusantara after completing Friday prayers.
“After Friday prayers, Mr. JK resumed his activities. Meanwhile, Mr. Akbar Tanjung and Mr. TP had lunch at Coto Nusantara. After that, I went to the Novotel Hotel to provide material and in the afternoon flew back to Jakarta," said Zulham.
The Makassar City Golkar Institute was officially opened by Deputy General Chairperson of Golkar Erwin Aksa and Chairman of the Golkar Institute Ace Hasan Syadzily at the Novotel Makassar Hotel on Thursday, November 18, 2021.
Zulham, yang juga merupakan Ketua Panitia Golkar Institute, menjelaskan kalau kursus singkat pendidikan politik dan kebijakan publik Partai Golkar yang digelar selama tiga hari itu diikuti oleh 50 peserta dari berbagai daerah di Sulsel.
“There were 84 people who submitted files. And 50 participants passed. Consisting of 34 men and 16 women. This is an innovation by the chairman, Airlangga Hartarto, that can produce young leaders. So that in the next 10 years the Golkar Party will not run out of stock of leaders," he concluded.
