Jakarta - The former chairman of the Indonesian House of Representatives, Akbar Tandjung, visited the funeral home of Maura Magnalia Madyarati. Akbar Tanjung mourned the loss of the eldest daughter of the Deputy Governor of Golkar, Nurul Arifin.
"I express my condolences for the death of rahmatullah, Maura, son of Nurul Arifin, who is active in a political organization on behalf of Golkar," said Akbar Tandjung at the funeral home in Puri Cinere, Depok, Tuesday (25/1/2022).
On that occasion, Akbar praised Nurul's figure as an important actor in the Golkar Party. Nurul, said Akbar Tanjung, is quite active in Golkar
“A figure that we hope to develop in the world of politics. Even though she comes with an artist background, she is also a female figure who is active in political activities,” he said.
Akbar berharap Nurul bisa tabah dan bangkit sehingga bisa menjalani kehidupan seperti sedia kala, khususnya membantu Golkar dalam Pemilu 2024.
"Of course Nurul Arifin will remain active in organizational activities, especially the Golkar Party," he added.

"Last night at 01.00 WIB, we were still chatting with Mas Mayong (Nurul Arifin's husband). Still chatting with friends," said Nurul at the funeral home, Cinere, Depok, West Java.
Nurul said, at around 04.30 WIB, Maura was found dead at the dining table in a cold body condition. “Our maid woke up, she was already asleep at the dining table. It was cold already," he explained.
Meanwhile, Nurul's husband, Mayong Suryo Laksono, said that his daughter had a sudden cardiac arrest. Maurala was treated at the hospital.
"If the cause of his illness was cardiac arrest, then we took him to the hospital at 05.00 WIB in the morning, he was declared dead at 05.37 WIB. So there's 37 minutes. From home it was limp and cold. Because his condition is dropping, he's not sleeping anymore to take care of his graduation next month, he's about to graduate from Sidney University, he just finished his master's degree. Graduation is still not sure whether or not to go to Australia because of the lockdown," he explained.
