AT Institute dipimpin Foundernya Dr. Ir. Akbar Tandjung menerima kunjungan tamu kehormatan dari negara sahabat Malaysia Menteri Komunikasi dan Multimedia Malaysia Tan Sri Datuk Seri Panglima Haji Annuar bin Musa.
This visit can be regarded as the visit of an old friend between Annuar bin Musa and Akbar Tandjung. The two friends served as Ministers of Youth and Sports in their respective countries in the 1990s.
Moreover, both of them are also members of the ruling party in their respective countries. Annuar bin Musa is a member of the UMNO party while Akbar Tandjung is a member of the Golkar Party.
Since the beginning of his political career, Akbar Tandjung has been consistent as part of the Golkar Party (Golkar), before becoming the Golkar Party. Even during the reformation period, he served as the General Chair of the Golkar Party and succeeded in bringing the Party bearing the banyan tree symbol out as the winner of the 2004 General Election. Now in the Golkar Party, Akbar is the Chairman of the Honorary Council of the Golkar Party.
Not much different from Akbar, Annuar bin Musa's career also experienced ups and downs in the government and within the UMNO party. Apart from serving as Minister of Youth and Sports, he also served as Minister of Rural Development, then Minister of Federal Territories of Malaysia.
The man who was born in 1956 was present at the AT Institute with a number of his staff who were dominated by young people. During the friendly visit, which was filled with laughter, it was agreed that there was a need to increase cooperation between Malaysia and Indonesia, not only formally but also informally to make it more flexible.
Annuar bin Musa sincerely wishes to emphasize the importance of increasing cooperation between the two nations who already have close relations in terms of history, customs and culture. Indonesia is also mentioned as important for ASEAN because in Southeast Asia, Indonesia is a great power and anchor that can help regional stability
